The Yull lab, within the Cancer Biology department, studies
the NF-kappaB family of transcription factors,
master regulators of many critical processes such as
proliferation, apoptosis, immune responses and inflammation. Given
its wide range of functions, it is unsurprising
that NF-kappaB plays roles in basic development and in
most diseases including cancer. Our laboratory has generated a
number of mouse models to investigate these roles in development;
breast, lungs, limbs and the immune system. We are also
interested in the roles played by NF-kappaB signaling in disease,
especially within breast and lung cancer.
