Meeting Agenda/Notes

The talk will summarize our group's efforts to generate reagents that selectively react with discrete subsets of human pancreatic cells.  The identified reagents react with cell-surface molecules on these cell subsets and enable cell subset identification and isolation.  The discussion will focus on the strategies used to develop and characterize these reagents, use of the reagents to isolate and characterize the varied pancreatic cell types, use of the reagents to define pancreatic stem/progenitor cell populations, and the potential of these reagents to image and/or target diverse cells within the pancreas.
