JENNIFER STANCILL (MAGNUSON LAB) OFFICIALLY PH.D. CANDIDATE
Congratulations to Jennifer Stancill on recently passing her qualifying exam in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. Her thesis project, entitled “The effects of persistent membrane depolarization on beta cell function and identity,” will examine how chronically stimulated beta cells may lose their identity and undergo trans-differentiation to become alpha cells.
