|Presentation Title||Understanding neural crest lineage diversification in|
|Status||This meeting has already occurred|
The Southard-Smith group studies neural crest lineages in the peripheral nervous system. They are particularly interested in mechanisms that control the balance and diversity of neuronal types within autonomic ganglia that innervate visceral organs. In this week's SPRING meeting, Michelle will share a series of vignettes that relate to the team's ongoing efforts to determine the roles played by Sox10 and Pax3 in neural crest lineages of the gastrointestinal tract and major pelvic ganglia.
