Presentation Title | Using mass cytometry to reveal signaling cytotypes in brain tumors |
Status | This meeting has already occurred |
I will present collaborative research with the Irish lab at Vanderbilt, in which we generated a novel mass cytometry antibody panel to measure lineage markers and signaling proteins in surgical resections of primary glioblastoma. Using this approach, we have identified novel cell subsets whose abundance is predictive clinical outcomes, and are now beginning to test the connection between contact with the neural stem cell niche and other negatively-prognostic features.
