The Transgenic Mouse and Embryonic Stem Cell Shared Resource now offers full service mouse model development facilitated by its new staff scientist, Leesa Sampson. She will discuss several new strategies/methods that are making the design and production of mouse research models cheaper and faster than ever before. Topics discussed will include new CRISPR delivery strategies, quality control testing of CRISPR reagents, gene editing with Cas9-expressing mice, highly efficient screening of CRISPR-edited mice, improved large knock-in efficiencies using megamer ssDNAs, and the perks of using Tol2 transposase or PhiC31 integrase to make your next transgenic mouse model.
