This talk will focus on the ability of the CNS to regulate glucose uptake and storage by the liver. It will also examine insulin’s affect and look at the interaction of these two regulators. Finally it will look at the cellular mechanism by which these changes are brought about and what goes wrong in the diet-induced obese state.
