|Presentation Title||mHealth Interventions Among Underserved Adults with Diabetes in Safety-net Clinics: A Community-engaged Hybrid Effectiveness-implementation Trial|
|Status||This meeting has already occurred|
We are conducting a community-based three-arm randomized control trial evaluating two interventions which use basic mobile phone technology to support diabetes self-care. This talk will (a) outline the components of the interventions, (b) illustrate how sustainability considerations informed intervention development, and (c) describe how community-engaged research strategies can marry nicely with a hybrid effectiveness-implementation approach to speed implementation and dissemination of effective technology-delivered interventions.
