End Date / Time July 5, 2017 at 9:55 AM
Duration 55 minutes

Presenter Name Kathryn Trogden, PhD (Kaverina's lab)
Presentation Title Golgi-derived microtubule nucleation in beta cells is regulated by calcium and cAMP
Status This meeting has already occurred

Meeting Agenda/Notes

Golgi-derived microtubule nucleation increases in response to high glucose in two waves that mirror GSIS in MIN6 cells. We have found that this response is regulated by calcium and cAMP. EPAC2, a cAMP effector, not PKA is involved in the first wave of nucleation.
