|Presentation Title||Dissecting Molecular Signatures of Mammary Gland Lineages|
|Status||This meeting has already occurred|
Mammary gland development follows a hierarchical model. One stem cell can differentiate into all cell lineages to regenerate the entire mammary gland. One fundamental question is what molecular profile specifies the cell fate during stem cell self-renewal and differentiation. I will discuss our methods to dissect the molecular profiles in stem cells and lineage specific cells of the mammary glands.
