Presentation Title | Leveraging Single-Cell Data to Define Cell Differentiation Transitions |
Status | This meeting has already occurred |
Cellular transitions from less specialized types to more specialized types are integral to tissue development, regeneration, and homeostasis, where a single cell type can give rise to more than one functionally distinct cell type. While signaling profiles of functionally distinct cell states, are generally well characterized, the signaling dynamics at critical cell fate decision points are not. With our algorithmic approach we seek to provide insight into how cells make fate decisions and provide unique insight into the effect of disease on cell transitions.
