Presentation Title | Epigenetic mechanisms underlying lung development and regeneration |
Status | This meeting has already occurred |
My lab has recently focused on the epigenetic mechanisms that promote proper lung development. We have also begun to define how these same pathways play critical roles in lung repair and regeneration. These studies have revealed important insights into HDAC and miRNA mediated pathways that control early lung development and some of these pathways are also potential therapeutic targets for human lung disease.
