|Presentation Title||Integrative Analysis of Human Pancreatic Islets in Type 1 Diabetes|
|Status||This meeting has already occurred|
Progress in understanding the pathological changes in type 1 diabetes has been limited by the difficulty of studying human samples until recently. Using a new approach for pancreas procurement, our laboratory has initiated integrative analysis of both the native pancreas and isolated islets from human donors with type 1 diabetes. This presentation will discuss initial analysis outcomes from several donors with type 1 diabetes and normal controls.
