WELCOME NEW FACULTY RECRUIT, VIVIAN GAMA, PH.D.
We are pleased to announce that Vivian Gama joined Vanderbilt September 1, 2015 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. Vivian obtained her Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in Pharmacology and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The long term goal of her new laboratory is to uncover proteins involved in determining stem cell fate under physiological conditions and to understand how they can be manipulated to prevent or treat disease.
