The regulation of genome accessibility plays a key role in gene
regulation during development.
Pioneer transcription factors regulate spatial chromatin accessibility by binding to specific genomic locations.
We have characterized 120 transcription factor families that open chromatin, and we will discuss a genomic code for chromatin accessibility.
