Welcome new faculty members Jonathan Irish, Ph.D. and P. Brent Ferrell, M.D.
The Vanderbilt Center for Stem Cell Biology is very pleased to welcome two new Faculty Members – Jonathan Irish, Ph.D. and P. Brent Ferrell, M.D.
Jonathan is an Associate Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology and Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology. He is interested in both cancer and immunology, and uses novel methodologies and computational approaches to better understand how cell signaling is disturbed at the single cell level.
Brent is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and conducts research in Oncology, Hematology and Immunology. He is interested in hematologic malignancies, with a particular focus on acute myeloid leukemia and the myelodysplastic syndrome. He also uses multimodal approaches that focus on single cells for therapeutic discovery.
We look forward to many future interactions with both investigators.
