There is currently no good mechanism at Vanderbilt to query the breath of research which occurs here, or to identify investigators who have specific research interests. This new feature of Labnodes seeks to overcome these issues by providing a collection of faculty-validated publications and some simple search tools for querying it. Our goal in providing this resource is to provide an easy-to-use knowledge discovery tool for Vanderbilt faculty, students and staff.
If you find it useful please let us know.
The database of publications has been derived from user-validated entries. Information about each publication is from PubMed and is automatically updated on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness for those publications people have entered, or that were transferred from the BRET publication lists. Due to the need for individual users to enter and validate their publications, and that Labnodes was originally focused on faculty in the School of Medicine (SOM), many Vanderbilt faculty and their publications are absent.
