Nicole is a PhD student in Pharmacology under the mentorship of Colleen Niswender and Jeff Conn within the Vanderbilt Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery. Her work focuses on validating metabotropic glutamate receptors as potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of Rett Syndrome and MECP2 Duplication Syndrome. Nicole graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and a minor in neuroscience.
