About the DeBaun Lab

Our laboratory engages in clinical and translation research to address questions about the etiology, epidemiology, and optimal therapy for the management of children and adults with sickle cell disease and children with only asthma. We conduct patient oriented research locally, nationally and internationally.  The laboratory consists of a multi-disciplinary team (nurses, physiologist, pulmonologist, hematologists, neurologist, internist, pediatrician, basic scientists and patients/families affected by sickle cell disease and/or asthma.).
