I have worked in the Vanderbilt Transgenic Mouse / ES Cell Shared Resource since 2005 as a research assistant. I have a B.S. in Physics and a PhD in Molecular Biology both received in Moscow, Russia. In 1994, I followed my husband to work in the USA. From that time forward, I have worked in several different labs focusing on bone marrow transplantation research. My work in the ES Cell Core includes gene targeting, RMCE, establishing methods for genotyping of albino offspring, sex determination of ES cells, and radioactive Southern for screening of targeted ES cells.
