I have worked at Vanderbilt since 1991 and have worked with Randy Blakely since 1995.
Upon joining the Blakely lab, my Vanderbilt career path transitioned from a Research Assistant to Lab Manager, Core Manager for SNP Discovery and now Program Manager for the Vanderbilt/NIMH Silvio O. Conte Center for Neuroscience Research.
In my current position in the Conte Center, I oversee general management of the Center, assisting with proposal creating, progress reports, websites, developing our summer undergradate program, and other education and outreach efforts. I also oversee Brain Matters, the exhibit on neuroscience, located at Vanderbilt Health, One Hundred Oaks.
I am grateful for the diverse array of activities I have been able to participate in over the years, with the support of Randy Blakely and, more recently, Mark Wallace, Director of the Vanderbilt Brain Institute. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the Vanderbilt Research Enterprise with all that I have learned.
