Laurie Shackleford, DNP, FNP, is the Associate Administrative Director for the Vanderbilt Center for Diabetes Translation Research. Her research interests and experience are in the areas of type 2 diabetes management, diabetes self-management education, telemedicine, and diabetes prevention. Her clinical practice experience includes both family practice and type 2 diabetes specialty care.
